Funeral services for the late ex-Councillor Edgar E. Farewell were held from the Stonehouse Funeral Home on Friday afternoon and were very largely attended. Services were conducted at the home by Rev. W.J. Watt of Trinity United Church. Interment was in Queen's Lawn Cemetery. Casket bearers were Edward Norton, Frank Hitchman, Harry Holmes, Arthur Hewson, Thomas E. Mannell and Cornelieu Dirksen.
