Lancaster, Frederick William (Died)

The death occurred in Toronto Thursday morning of Frederick Wm. Lancaster, a well known resident of the Queen City, and father of E.A. Lancaster, K.C., M.P. The deceased gentleman was found dead in bed at the home of his son, W.F. Lancaster, 138 Close Ave., heart failure evidently being the cause of his death. Mr. Lancaster has resided in Toronto for the past 30 years, where he was in business at the Union depot. He formerly resided near London. For some time past he has been living in retirement at his son's home. Mr. Lancaster was in his 84th year. A widow, three sons, Messrs. E.A., of St. Catharines, Charles of Pittsburgh, and W.F. of Toronto, and two daughters, Mrs. VanEvery and Mrs. Webber of Toronto, survive.
