Description
Full Text

A bright young life passed over the Great Divide on Thursday morning last, when Elizabeth Beamer, beloved wife of Mr. Herschel Smith of Beamsville, passed away. Mrs. Smith was the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Beamer of Grimsby and was a bride of only 10 months. She was born in North Grimsby Township 29 years ago, and had lived in this district all her life, and had a host of friends who were surprised and shocked at her sudden death. The funeral, which was very largely attended, took place from the home of her parents, Robinson Street, Grimsby, on Saturday afternoon last to Queen's Lawn cemetery. Services were conducted at the home and grave by Rev. L.H. Currie of St. John's Presbyterian Church, Grimsby, assisted by the Rev. G.M. Ross of Grimsby and the Rev. Mr. Laing of Beamsville...To her husband, to W.W. and Mrs. Kitchen, who mourn their only child, and to the infant son, the deep sympathy of the community goes out.
