Description
- Full Text
Michael, "Mick" Teeter, marshal at the Beamsville fair for nearly a quarter of a century, and who was never known to have missed a fair in half a century, is dead. The deceased passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital, Hamilton, on Monday, Sept. 9, and the remains were taken to Smithville for interment. His birthplace was in South Grimsby township, but he passed his days largely in this vicinity, where he knew everybody and everybody knew "Mick". He was one of the few remaining members of the old guard of fair directors of 30 years ago. He had no enemies and his constant good cheer made him a host of friends.
