Snyder, Joel Leverett (Died)

The death occurred at his late residence, Robinson Street, North, on Tuesday, December 22nd, of Joel Leverett Snyder in his 79th year. Deceased was born at St. Anns, February 14th, 1853, and had lived in this district for about 45 years. Mr. Snyder was a member of the Presbyterian Church and will be greatly missed by his many friends. Surviving are one son Robert, of Preston, and two daughters, Mrs. Glover, of Boston, and Mrs. Peterson of Grimsby, also two brothers, M. Snyder and L. Snyder, of St. Anns, and one sister, Mrs. Noan, of Dakotah, U.S.A. Mrs. Frank Hitchman, of Grimsby, and Mrs. Chadwick, of Toronto, are grandchildren of the deceased. Mrs. Snyder predeceased her husband a few years. The funeral will be held from his late residence on Thursday at 2 o'clock p.m. with interment in Queen's Lawn Cemetery.
