In failing health for a number of years, Benjamin Homer Meyers passed away at his home, North Grimsby, Sunday. Born near Listowel, he was in his 64th year, and had resided here for the last 8 years, coming from Peterboro. He was a 32nd degree Mason, being affiliated with Rameses Temple, of Toronto. Surviving, besides his wife, are a son and daughter, L.A.C. John Meyers, R.C.A.F. overseas, and Mrs. Wilfred Christopherson, of Toronto; two brothers, Arthur O. Meyers, Detroit, and Archie J. Meyers, of Campbellford, Ont., and a sister, Mrs. Alberta Meyers, of Penetanguishene. Funeral was held from the Stonehouse Funeral Home on Tuesday afternoon, Rev. W.J. Watt officiating. Interment was in Queen's Lawn Cemetery. Casket bearers were P.J. Patterson, Fred Kitchen, Fred Bush, Peter Christopherson, Roy Shields, J. Shea.
