One of the older and well known residents of Port Dalhousie, Miss Jane Gadsby, of 21 Brock St., passed away Saturday evening at the St. Catharines General Hospital after a lengthy illness. The late Miss Gadsby was born in England ninety-one years ago and had been a resident of this vicinity for the past 88 years. She was a member of Queen Street Baptist Church. To mourn her passing is one brother, Edwin J. Gadsby of Grimsby Beach.
