Mayer, Pauline Caroline (née Shirley) (Died)

After an illness of only two days, the death occurred on Monday morning of Pauline Caroline Mayer, relict of the late Lewis Henri Mayer, in her 78th year, at her home, the Fifty Road, Winona. Deceased was born in England and came to Canada 32 years ago and has resided in the Winona district for 29 years. Her husband predeceased her in 1937. She was a member of the Winona Gospel Church where funeral services were held on Wednesday afternoon, with interment in the family plot in the Fifty Cemetery. Surviving are one son, Carl, of St. Catharines, and one daughter, Mrs. H. G. Gardner, Fruitland; two sisters, Miss. Elise Shirley, Winona and Mrs. Edward Spink, in England.
