The death occurred at her home, 115 Rosslyn Ave., Hamilton on Thursday morning last, of Margaret Louise Piper (Mrs. Theron VanDyke) wife of Charles H. Piper, after an illness of three weeks. The deceased lady was born 71 years ago at Merritton and moved to Grimsby when a child with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Blair. Her father was for many years G.T.R. station agent here. She moved to Hamilton to reside in 1910. Left to mourn her death, besides her husband, are one son, Ross B. VanDyke, Hamilton; and one daughter, Mrs. Clarence (Lenore) Cumpson, Pontiac, Mich.; three brothers, Henry J. Blair, of Burlington; James A. Blair, of Spokane, Wash., and Frank R. Blair, of Toronto; and two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Teeter, of Toronto, and Mrs. Mary Woolverton of Hamilton. The funeral was held on Saturday with interment in Queen's Lawn cemetery. Rev. J. Alan Ballard officiated.
