George Worthington Gibson passed away suddenly at the home of his brother-in-law, David Allan, with whom he resided, on Saturday afternoon, in his 68th year. Born in Grimsby, he was a son of the late Robert and Fanny Gibson, and had spent his lifetime here. He was a member of the Canadian Order of Foresters and the United Church. Surviving are two brothers, John H., Grimsby, and Robert, Beamsville; and one sister, Mrs. E. A. Gray, Hamilton. The funeral was held on Monday afternoon from his late residence, 68 Main East. Rev. E.A. Earchman assisted by Rev. Harvey Merritt conducted the service. Interment was made in Queen's Lawn Cemetery. The pallbearers were, Messrs. Geo. Luno, R.F. Nelles, G. Harris, George Bolton, J.H. Culp and James Theal.
