Word has been received that Lloyd A. Nelson, son of Mrs. Ida Nelson, Grimsby, passed away suddenly at his home, Wickliff, Ohio, where he had resided for the last 20 years. In his 47th year, he was born in South Grimsby township. When the last war broke out he immediately enlisted and went overseas with the 162nd Machine Gun Battalion, C.E.F., serving with that unit throughout the war. Surviving, besides his wife, at Wickliff, and his mother, Mrs. Ida Nelson, Grimsby, are two sisters and three brothers, Mrs. Palmer Hill and Mrs. Willis Bartlett, Grimsby; Clare Nelson, Binbrook; Ross Nelson, Grimsby, and Harry Nelson, in the Royal Canadian Navy. Remains are being brought here and funeral services will be held on Thursday afternoon, with interment in Queen's Lawn Cemetery.
