Corporal Charles "Chuck" MacKenzie, son of Alex and Mrs. MacKenzie has been wounded on the Western Front according to official notification received by his parents. The date and nature of his wounds are not yet available. "Chuck" was in Belgium on October 8th, according to a letter received from him. He enlisted in July 1940 with the Argyl and Sutherland Highlanders and served on the west coast and 21 months in Jamaica before proceeding overseas in September, 1943.
