The death occurred at midnight on Sunday, July 12th, 1936, at the Moyer Nursing Home of Julia Josephine Howell of 30 Bald St., Welland, Ontario, widow of the late Dr. J.H. Howell. Death came as a result of pneumonia due to heat prostration suffered last Thursday while visiting with friends in Grimsby. She was immediately removed to the hospital. The late Mrs. Howell was in her 75th year.
Born in Wilfred, Ontario, July 24th, 1861, she was the daughter of the late James H. Reekie, a very prominent farmer in that district.
Burial took place in Welland on Tuesday.
