Fairbrother, Mr. and Mrs. W.D. (Anniversary: 50)

Celebrate their golden wedding - Mr. and Mrs. W.D. Fairbrother of Beamsville celebrated 50 years of married life on Saturday. Both are life-long residents of Beamsville and have seen many changes in the life of the corporation. Mr. Fairbrother is the registrar of deeds for Lincoln county and his wife an honorary president of the Lena Davis Chapter. I.O.D.E. Mrs. Fairbrother was also its first president and is one of the chapter's most enthusiastic members. One son, Terence, is in the overseas forces, also a grandson. Edward, a veteran of the last war, resides in Sudbury. Many messages of congratulations came in to the couple from friends at home and from outside points.
