The death occurred in Elora, Ontario, on Sunday, Oct. 31st, 1943, of a former well-known resident of Beamsville and Clinton Township, in the person of Thomas R. Gilmore, in his 89th year. Mr. Gilmore was a former Reeve of Clinton Township having held that position for 9 years. Though not having lived in the district for some years he has generally made it a point to visit the district in recent years to renew acquaintances.
