One of the most esteemed residents of the Winona district, where she had lived for the last 35 years, Mrs. Murray Pettit, passed away at her home Monday evening in her 87th year. Surviving her are a daughter, Mrs. M.S. Glassco; four grandchildren, Mrs. R.O. Denman, of Greensville; Mrs. C.L. Henderson, of Brantford; Mrs. Ralph Willard, Hamilton Beach, and Mrs. V.J. Hatton, of Fort William, and 8 great grandchildren.
