Walter R. Wilcox, for many years a well known farmer and undertaker of Caistorville, died at Hamilton on Wednesday. Mr. Wilcox was born in the Township of Binbrook 66 years ago, the son of the late John Wilcox, one of the pioneer families of the district. When a young man he settled in the Township of Caistor and during his 36 years there he became a prominent and successful farmer. He also conducted an undertaking establishment in the Village. He was a Liberal in politics. He was a member of the United Church. Four years ago he retired and moved to Hamilton. Surviving him are his widow and three brothers, John of Binbrook, Allen, Hamilton, and Charles, also of Hamilton.
