Mann, Laura Ida (née Mainland) (Died)

A former resident of North Grimsby township, Mrs. A.J. Mann, wife of the Rev. A.J. Mann, of Kitchener, passed away at her home there on Thursday last. The former Laura Ida Mainland was born in North Grimsby, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Mainland, and was in her 71st year. Following her marriage she had lived in Smithville, Brussels, Newmarket, Elora and Aberfoyle, where her husband preached before moving to Kitchener several years ago. Besides her husband she is survived by one son, Allan, of Brantford, and three sisters, Mrs. W.H. VanDuzer, North Grimsby; Mrs. Mary Hooper, Dashbrook, and Mrs. Annie MacDonald, Dallas, Texas. Following service in Kitchener, interment was made in Queen's Lawn Cemetery here on Monday afternoon. Casket bearers were Wesley Brand, John Bowslaugh, Lewis Haweky, Harry Sturch, G. Murray Beamer and Morris Udell.
