...The word was received by his mother, Mrs. F. W. Scott, at her home, 33 Ramsay Ave., Toronto...Lieut. Frederick Gundy Scott was born in Toronto on Nov 9, 1895. His father, F.W. Scott, a partner in the firm A.E. Ames and Co, Financial Brokers, died in December 1898, and shortly after his death the family moved to Grimsby and took up their residence on Murray Street in the house now occupied by Mr. Jas. Aitchison. Besides a heartbroken mother, the deceased leaves one sister, Miss Helen, at home, one brother, Flight Lieut. Pearson Scott, now in training in England...
