Instead of the portrait of the late Senat- or MsMaster, President of thejBan^, the larger bill has a helmeted female head and the smaller bill a female form. The backs bear a picture of the new bank building printed in blue on the new 1 10 bill and in brown on the $6 bill. The face is printed in several colors. Almost Fatal. â€" Last Monday, while Wm. Shields, formerly butcher of our dale, and his brother Dick Jack were drawing in grain, tbe horses took fright at some object on the road and they suddenly started off. Dick Jack being at the rear of the load fell off backwards, turning three summersets before reach- ing the ground and would have turned the fourth if it had not been for the length of his leffl. Wm., by his activity and presence of mind, caught the horses before harm was done.
