We are in receit of a copy of a neat and spicy paper. the 'MoosegawNews,' from Robert Kells.son of Thos. Kells, Esq., ol Artenresia, who has pitched his tent in that rising, city, on the C. P. Ey. This paper is dated the 11th day of May, at which time there were in the place oyer 100 buildings, while two mouths previous there was but two solitary houses. We are pleased to know Ihat Robert is doing well in the N. W. and have no doubt that he will make his mark up there. Another Fire Scare. â€" On Tuesday about 5 p. m. the alarm of fir« was piven, when the woodshed of Mr. Gill, on Mill btreet, was found in a blaze. Had it not been for the well directed efiforts of our citizens who were on hand in good time, together with a good supply of water, the dam- age would have been much more serious, as it was the fire was confin ed to the shed, which was consumed. Tiie fire originated from h dish of ashes emptied in tbe woodshed by a httle child. Mr. Gill recently pur- chased the property and has no in- surance on the house, and though not an expensive one, he could ill afford to loose it. He is a very industrious citizen, a painter by trade.
