Another Fire Scare. â€" On Tuesday about 5 p. m. the alarm of fir« was piven, when the woodshed of Mr. Gill, on Mill btreet, was found in a blaze. Had it not been for the well directed efiforts of our citizens who were on hand in good time, together with a good supply of water, the dam- age would have been much more serious, as it was the fire was confin ed to the shed, which was consumed. Tiie fire originated from h dish of ashes emptied in tbe woodshed by a httle child. Mr. Gill recently pur- chased the property and has no in- surance on the house, and though not an expensive one, he could ill afford to loose it. He is a very industrious citizen, a painter by trade.
