Mrs. Wakely was the daughter of Mr. Bicbard Ludlow, of Artemesia, and was bom m this Township in 1847. Her lively, cheerful aud kmdiy disposition gained her many friends in youth, whose attachment continued tbrougb life. Some ten years ago she was united in marriage to Mr. Samuel Wakely, and settled in tbe township of Proton, where by united idOustry tliey made a home which gave promise of comfort and ease shotild they live to enjoy it in advanced years.
