McARTHUR DIES The Botha, .\lberta, district has lost one of its old-time residents in the person of John T. McArthur, who passed away at his home from a heart attack on October 20th, in his 59th year. Mr. McArthur was born at Ceylon v.-here he lived with his parents, the ate Mr. and Mi-s. Thos. McArthur, untir'coming West in. 1908 to settle on a homestead in the Lomand dis- trict. Southern Alberta. In 1912 he married Miss Frances Danskin. He farmed there until 1917, when they moved to the Botha district where, with his wife and two daughters, he took up farming again. . Mr. Mc- .Ai-thur was a loving father and de- voted husband and was widely known for his lively interest in eommunit.i^ affairs and will long be remembered for his kindness and generosity im times of illness and distress. ,.
