The Women's Institute will meet at the home of Mrs. Cornfield on Wednesday, Nov. 7th, at 8 p.m. Roll call "Uses of Baking Soda." Mr. T. Stewart Cooper of Markdale will address the meeting on the Blue Cross Hospitalization Plan. Visitors welcome. A Flesherton man recently had occasion to use some green ink, and none was available. He had a brain wave though and used some sweet nitre into which he dissolved sever- al gin pills. However, the idea was- not so good as the ink, although, legible, was not the bright green he had visions to expect, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Gorrell have taken one of the apartments over the Richards store and Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Boyd are moving from the apartment in the building on Coll- ingwood street recently purchased by Mr. Geo.
