Muster Harvey Jamieson of Toron- to is spending his holidays with his cousin, Garfield Lyons. Miss Hazel McMillan has returned home from Toronto, where she spent the winter. Mr. Jack Arnott of the O.A.C. at Guelph was home fur the week end. Mr. and Mrs. Emerson Gallagher and Jean Lyons visited with their little daughter, Evelyn, at Orange- ville hospital on Sunday and found her improving so well thai she was able to return hjwme with them. Mr. John Osborne and friend of Brampton were visitors at the home of Robt. Osborne over the week end. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Shaardown and Donald moved tto Toronto Frida; and Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Little moved their furniture Saturday. We wisih these friends the beat of luck in their new homes in Toronto. Mr. Geo. Wilkinson intends movin to the Sheardown farm the first of this week. There are tioo many empty houaee on our line now. A serious accident occurred in Dundalk Sunday when the tongue in a democrat broke and the team be- longing to Mr. Mills ran away, throw- ing the occupants out. Driver Bk*b Talbot of Camp Borden, who was riding with them, received head in- juries and a fractured shoulder. Dr. Lindsay was called and the patient was removed to Orangeville hospital and later to Camp Borden. Driver Talbot is the eldest son of Mr. an- Mrs. Ed. Talbot of Wareham. The West Group of Wareham Red Cross met at the home of Mrs. Robt. Osborne on Thursday and completed another quilt. The next meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. Wilfred Batchelor Thursday afternoon, when there will be another quilting. Mr. Harry LeGard has returned home after spending the winter with members of his family in Toronto and Pickering. Mrs. Down has returned to her home much improved in health and wishes to express her thanks to her friends for remembering her in var- ious way while she was ill. Mrs. C. J. Bellamy received a let- ter last week from her nephew Dvr. Dick Wilson of the New Zealand Army Service Corps, son of Mr. and Mrs. \Vm. Wilson, who wrote from the Middle East on Nov. 9, 1041. The letter arrived here on April 3rd, but where it has been In tts five months of travel we cannot surmise.
