The truck was a tractor trailer and was carrying a load of 10 tons of steel for the King Paving Company. When the rear wheel of the trailer broke the edge of the road and slipped into the ditch the load shifted to one side and tipped the trailer, one large bundle of steel and two barrels loaded with wire broke through the side while the other bundle plowed into the right side of the cab. and against the instrument board, completely demolishing it. Vne driver was jammed against the wheel which was bent from the impact, but he was able to climb through the cab window. The frame of the tractor was bent and other damage sustained. It was estimated a couple of hundred dollars would make repairs. Splendid Concert By Toronto Talent .â- V splendid concert was presented in the town hall, Flesherton on Friday \ evening, when Bob Wilson and Harry ; Binns of Toronto, with their troupe, delighted a filled hall with their mirth : provoking humor and splendid songs. Bob Wilson was funny as usual with : odd dress and jokes and Miss Jeau ^ Wilson, Scottish contralto, teamed ; well with â-  him in everal numbers. Harry Binns and Miss Jessie Butt ; were repeatedly encored with their clever singing in duets and their work was decidedly high class. They have | appeared in every city in Canada and i the United States and are heard over ; Toronto radio stations each winter. Flesherton was indeed fortunate in having them here. Miss Lillian Butt â-  was the pianist and the audience mar- : veiled at her ability, when she played ' two pieces on the piano and sang a I bird at the same time. She also gave I several fine readings. I Another person who captivated the audience wa.s Miss Dorothy Merral with her piano acordeon which she played with a masterful touch that was a treat. She too. gave two especially fine readings. X\\ the members of the troup were heartily a))plauded and gladly responded to the re-action of their audience. With -uch talent the two hour performance came to an end all too quickly. Tiiey will be welcomed by a capacity house if they ever return here. fhe concert was held under the :iuspices i)f Cevloti United Church. J.
