Richardson of Toronto, a former Flesherton boy, has been ap- pointed Medical Superintendent of the Caris-Itite hotel in Toronto, at the corner of Front and Simcoe Streets h> (hat city. This institution combines many of the uses of a first class hos- pital, with those of a modern, quiet hotel, omitting the undesirable fea- tures and is intending to supply for Toronto and the neighboring states something resembling what Lord Daw- son of Penn, the King's physician, re- ferred to in an actiress of a few months ago. He seems to recogniM the need in every large centre of population, where people of impaired health not needing restrictive regu- Iation!f of a hospital, may receive at- tention by their own doctors facing physio-therapy, massage, diet and other aids to restore health under medical supervision. The Advanc« and all Advance read- ers are invited to attend the recep- tion on Tuesday, November 29th from 4 to 12 p.m. Experts from New York will give interesting talks on suit&ble subjects.
