Mr. Morgan was a kind neighbor and friend, always willing to aid in any ?ause. In his passing we lc->e a valuable citizen. The funeral was held on Thursday, service being heia in the United church. Pherrill spoke impressingly on Mr. Morgan's sterling dualities and nreached a very comforting sermon from the text: "0 grave where Is thv victorv? O death where is thy sting?" Rev. Smith spoke feelingly from the text "and others". Rev. Pope gave a fine prayer of consol- ation. "Oh Love that will not let me go," "Abide with me" and "Son of my soul" three favorite hymns of the deceased were sung. "Safe in the Arms of Jesus" w*.? beautifully rendered by the choir. The remains followed by a large concourse of friends and sympathizers were taker, by motor to Flesherton and interred in the family plot in the cemetry there. On the casket lay the Union Jack and many beautiful floral tributes showing love and respect for the deceased and sympathy for the be- reaved.
