REPORT OF UPPER CANADA BIBLE SOCIETY FI6URS IT OUT Here's a bit of simple arithmetic for the married people, and it shows how mysterious is the figures 3,854. Put down the year of your birth. Be- lowthat your age, then the year of your marriage, and the number of years you have been married. Add them up and the answer will be 3,864. Officers of the Society wish to take this opportunity of expressing their thanks to the people for their contri- I butions, also the collectors for doing . their work so systematically. At the I annual meeting in June the presid- ' ent suggested that we would try and make our contributions four times what it was for the last year, and, we are thankful to say, we have gone over the top, as this year over five times the amount has been collected, a total of $75.50. We would again exjM'ess our appreciation to the res- ponse to this worthy cause. PRE'S.â€" Thos. W. Findlay. SEC-TREAS. â€" Mrs. Dave Williams.
