McNabb, who resides at 40 Ford Street, Toronto, and who has been watchman for six years at the Suburban Express Company office, found Dreco a splendid remedy and tells you about it in the following statement : "Before taking Dreco," says Mr. MdMabb, "my liver was sluggish and my stomach -weak and I often had spells of sourness and gastritis that were distressing. My bowels were constipated BO badly that I had to take a laxative every day, and a cold settled in my kidneys, It seemed las if I could not get rested. My appetite failed me and my condition got so bad that the thought of food even fairly sickened me. The result | was that I was getting no nourish- ment and my system was getting weaker every day. "Since last spring I have taken several different medicines, none of which gave me the least result. Then Dreoo was suggested to me and I thought I could do no more than give it a trial. This I have done and the improvement that has resulted in three short weeks is little ! less than marvelous. | "My constipation is greately re- lieved, my appetite is improving and I no longer do I have that tired, weary j feeling. My food digests well and I j have been freed of my gastric trouble and sourness. My liver is active i once more and my kidneys much ! stronger and I can notice that since ' my system has been purged, the yellow jaundice, which had developed during the course of my sickness, is gradually disappearing. "All in nil, I am wonderfully im- proved and gladly jrive the credit to Dreco." Anyone's system is upt to get run down, but it can be readily built up acuin with Dreco. This grand herbal remedy contains no mercury, potash or habit-forming drugs and is the most reliable tonic and regulator for digestive troubles ever put on the market. Let it free you from un- necessary suffering by putting your stomach, liver, kidneys and bowels in proper working order. Dreco is beinu specially introduced in Fleshertou by C". N. Richardson and is sold by a good druggist every - Lost In Last Game Owen Sound's Group Owen Sound senior North Welling- ton team won from Flesherton at Hanovr on Wednesday afternoon of last week in a very disinteresting game from the spectators' viewpoint. It was one of the worst games be- tween the two teams this year. Fleeherton had a couple new man on the line-up, but even with them on the tetam, they failed to hit when a hit meant runs. That has been the whole trouble with the team this year, as they hadn't the punch be- hind them to win when needed. Owen Sound deserved to win on the play, their pitching staff being strengthened by Whinfield being brought home from Oshawa to play. Goldsmith didn't seem to be in the best of shape, as he was taken out of the box in the third and Mountain 1 relieved him, but was unable to find ', the plate and issued three walks in an inning and a half, when "Heck" came back again and held them fairly | well. Beard and E. Muir brought | the first two runs in during the third | inning and tied the score, when Mountain hit to left field with none down. Howard brought in the last run when Beard singled to left. Score by innings : Flesherton 0021000003 Owen Sound 1141 2000x 9 Flesherton players : Beard, E. Muir, Mountain. Public Speaking Winner i Speech given by Miss Cora Mc- j Fadden of the Flesherton school I which received first prize at the Fair | on Saturday. Although the other speeches given were real good we print this as it received the highest marks of any, boy or girl. The subject I have chosen this af- j ternoon is "Canada." \Ve believe that this Canada of ours is the best I vigoniting climate, unlimited resour- [ces, noe of the best inland water systems in the world, and affords ! unequalled opportunities for people ' who are not afraid of work. Although our Dominion is quite I yonug only 56 year.* yet during that time' il has been clearly shown i that she is quite capable of taking , her place among the first nations of | the world. We are proud of our connection with the British Empire, and have proved within the last few years that we are both able- and will- ing to do our share in defending the Empire to which we belong. One of the greatest problems; of Canada to-day is the Canndianizing of the different nationalities within our boundaries, so that we will have in our land one united people, with j the same ideals, all striving towards | making this country of ours one of | which we may well be proud. i Let our motto be : "Canada for PROTEST TO BE HEARD Flsherton's protest against the Dundalk team will likely be heard .onic time this week.
