- Full Text
RECEPTION - On Thursday evening last quite a number of young folks of the village assembled at the Revere Hotel to receive Mr. and Mrs. R. B. Currie on their return from their wedding tour. About 10:30 the company sat down to a sumptuous repast, which did credit tot he proprietor of the Revere, after which toasts were drank to the health of the bride and groom, the ladies the host and hostess and to the Queen, - "God bless her." Mr. Currie has been amongst us only a short time, but has succeeded by his genial and friendly manner in winning the respect and esteem of his young associates, which they each gave expression to at the close of the evening. We heartily welcome to our town Mr. Currie and his better half, and wish them success, long life and continued happiness.
