Died. -In Artemesia, on the 13th inst., the wife of Mr. Richard Porteous. [We extend to the afflicted husband - who had only been married to the deceased about one year, when the sad event occurred - our heartfelt sympathy. Death, under most circumstances, is a sad event, but in instances such as the present it is particularly so. It is under such circumstances that the afflicted ones realise how difficult it is sometimes to say with true religious devotion, "Thy will, O Lord, be done." -Ed.
