At the last regular meeting of Royal Black Preceptry, No.282, the following were elected officers for the current year: J. Brodie, W. Preceptor; W. Brady, D. P. J. Gillespie, Chaplain; T. Elliott, Registrar; J. Elliott, Treasurer; J. Erskine, 1st Lecturer; T. Abbott, Lecturer; J. McMaghan, 1st Censor; J. H. Carson, 2nd Censor; T. Gilray, 1st Standard Bearer; J. McFadden, 2nd S.B.; J. Gibson, Pursuivant; T. Abercrombie, 1st Com; J. Lackey, 2nd; W. Rutledge, 3rd; W. J. Johnson, 4th; J. H. Heard, 5th; G. Ritchie, 6th; R. W. Blakely, 7th; T. McArthur, Tyler. The Preceptory meets on the first Friday in each month, in the Orange Hall, Markdale. Com.
