_Shelburne, May 28._--To day as George Gorwood, a farmer living out about three miles from Shelburne, was starting for home, his horse became unmanageable, throwing him out. His head struck the sidewalk. Drs. Norton and Rolstin were in attendance but Mr. Gorwood died in about three hours afterwards, leaving a family of eight children. His wife was buried only a week ago.
