Euphrasia Council.

The council met pursuant to adjournment on the 4th day of July, 1885. Members all present; minutes of last session of council read and confirmed. Mr. Boyd was appointed to let some work on 9th line at lot 23. Mr. A McConnel appointed pathmaster instead of Donald Wallace, who refused to act. Mr. Boyd appointed to get repairs made on 6 & 7 side road, con. 9 & 10. Mr. Boyd appointed to remove all large stones from 18 & 19 side road, con. 12. The Reeve was appointed to let small job on 15 & 16 side line, con. 3 & 4. The Clerk was ordered to advertise deviation of S. R. 6 & 7, con. 3 & 4. $15 was granted, to be expended by Mr. Hurd on 6 & 7 S. R. con. 6. Mr. Shepherdson, to let job of covering crosway on S. R. 27 & 28, con. 8. The Treasurer was ordered to remit to J. G. Sing, Esq., P. L. S., $41, payment for surveying and conveyancing. The Reeve's orders were issued on the Treasurer to pay as follows, viz:--J. R. Fawcett, $1.25, repairing road scraper; John Ross, $2.25, removing stone; James Clark, $5, road work; W. Abercrombie $11, building culvert; J. Webster, $10, lumber used on 8th line; A. Holden $5, repairing road scraper; G. Hill, 58 cents, plank for culvert; J. Clugston, $10, gravel for road; J. Cook, work on road, $11; J. Boyd, $11.00, work on road; J. Neely, $19, road work; W. J. Lougheed, $34.87 1/2, work on 15 & 16 side line; H. Currie, $33.75, work on 18 & 19 S. R. con. 4; R. Dunlop, $30, part salary current year, and $5, notifying for court of revision; J. R. Winter, $15, gravel for road; H. Hurd, $75 to pay for work on 4th line; S. Gilmour, $10, work on deviation 24 & 25 S. R.; J. Clugston, $9.50 work on town line Collingwood and Euphrasia.
