Our Holiday: To Our Readers

Full Text: it is now a time honored custom for the coutnry paper to take a Christmas holiday at Midsummer. All around us the papers suspend operations for a week at this season of the year, and next week we intend to observe the custom and print no paper. Our subscribers will be busy harvesting - may the weather favour them - and they can better spare the paper than at Yule-tide.
