THRASHING MACHINE ACCIDENT - A young man named Moran, son of Mr. Robert Moran, of Arran, while thrashing at Mr. Morrison's, in the above township on Friday last week, accidentally fell into the cylinder, and one of his legs mangled up to the knee. Medical assistance was immediately obtained, when it was deemed necessary to amputate above the knee. He lingered for a short time after the operation, when death ended his sufferings, and on Sunday last was buried. - Chesley Enterprise
