SUDDEN DEATH OF ANGUS McCORMICK, OF GLENELG - Died Suddenly on the 19th ult., at the town of Burt, Cheboygan, Michigan, Angus McCormick. Few, if any, were better known throughout Glenelg and the adjoining townships that Mr. McCormick. About six weeks ago he went to Michigan to work in the lumber woods, and was in excellent health up to 10 o'clock a.m., of the 19th, when he asked some of his companions to help him up to the camp, when, on looking at him they noticed that he was very pale and immediately helped him to the camp, which was only a short distance from where they were working. On asking him where he felt the pain, he answered that it was between his shoulders which were the only words they could get out of him. He expired in fifteen minutes. An inquest was held on the following day, before Justice J.P. Sutton and jury, when the following verdict was rendered: - "That the said Angus McCormick, on the 19th day of November, 1880, at the lumber camp of Wm. Grant, in the town of Burt, in the county of Cheboygan, Michigan, then and there died by the visitation of God in the natural way and not otherwise." The remains arrived in Priceville on Saturday evening by express, and were on Monday, the 29th, followed to the R.C. burying ground by the largest funeral procession ever seen in Glenelg. Deceased was 49 years of age, and leaves a wife and seven children. - Grey Review
