CJLB is enlarging in their search for young Canadian talent to the Northwestern Ontario cities..Kenora, Fort Frances, Nipigon and Geraldton. CJLB will not only hold a search for country stars this year, they will also have a search for r6ck Stars. Two contestants will qualify from each coun- try show to appear in the country finals at the Lakehead Exhibition Labatt's Pro Rodeo, Sunday, August 7th, with the rock contes- tants one person or group will qualify from. each rock show to ap- pear in the finals, Thurs- day August 4th at the Canadian lakehead ex- hibition. The winner of Talent Show the third annual search for country stars is awarded an all expense paid trip to Regina to the "Academy of Country Music Awards" where they will compete with amateur country enter- tainers across Canada. The winner of the Re- gina awards will receive a recording session by a record company. The winner of the search for rock stars talent show will receive cash prizes.
