OR POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORT During the week of November lst to 7th the Terrace Bay Police investigated 18 occurences within the Township. : On November 1, 1976 Police investigated a sudden death that occured at the Meco Expansion site. Later that date a local resident was charged with failing to insure 'a motor vehicle. November 2 saw a Thunder Bay resident charged with no insurance for his motor vehicle. A local resident was charged later in the day with a liquor infraction. November 3 saw two charges under. the Highway Traffic Act laid. On November 4th a camp resident reported the theft of a tool box from the rear seat of his motor vehicle. On November 6, 1976 two Schreiber residents fell victim to a radar trap set by the Township Police. WOMEN OF MOOSE MEETING The Women of the Moose held their meeting November 2 with Sr. Regent, Marielle Tardif in chair. Alice Yates filled in for Helen Almos as recorder. It was decided to hold a "Hard Times" Dance in November. ' Carmel Zboroski and Danielle Salesse will be in charge of this. A Penny Auction will be held November 14th at 2:00 p.m. with Alma Hart as chairman. The pot of gold was won by Clara Gould. Lunch was served by Rose Dakin and her committee. The Women of the Moose are to meet again on Movember 16th at 8:00 p.m. 'RAW FURS -1976 & 1977 SEASON Lloyd Kivinen, Raw Fur Buyer for the a Hudsons Bay Company Thunder Bay, Ontario, will be in area in Schreiber from 1 p.m. to 2 oT on the following dates: NOVEMBER 22.
