A.W. DAMIS Turn up the wick at your job, task or project. Whether or not you are aware of it, it's an ideal time to start new programs. Getting use to a change that is taking place in your immediate environment, could be a problem. Incidentally, any changes that take place--will be to your advantage. You'll do well with the opposite sex. As a mat- ter of fact, there's some sort of overture or acknowledgement coming your way. Today, you could be referred to as being--"a soft touch." According to your chart, it's highly probable, that you'll forget about charity beginning at home. Many members of your sign will be asked to do something that is--well--some sort of honor. There is a catch, however, that task will not bring you popularity. You're inclined to take things for granted, today. But, most important, you're going to get the feeling that an associate has let you down. Mentally, most members of your sign are now sharply honed. It's not likely that any sort of written error will get by you. Running around with a sword in your belt--all set to do verbal battle--seems to be in the general scheme of things for most members of your sign. Being hard to get along with, especially when a member of the opposite sex is in- volved--seems to be your hang up! Take it easy, Sagittarius, you'll need all the help you can handle. Things should look bright in most departments of your life. Actually, things will go your way--in spite of a few blunders. You should hear good news concerning your job, task or project. Incidentally, this good news will come in a rather bizarre and misleading form. Not that you're going to face any "hair raising' reversals, the fact remains that, emotionally, you'll be as solid as the Rock of Gibraltar. i A. SAVE_YOUR HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY The Terrace Bay Horticultural Society has been active for twenty years. The membership has been quite large but for a few years now there has been a great difficulty in filling the executive positions. This year is the worst yet. No one has come forward to accept any of the positions available. The same peo- - ple cannot run a society year in and year out. New ideas and new blood must be added to keep it alive. The Horticultural Society provides plants to beautify Terrace Bay. One plot is kept filled on Simcoe Plaza, outside the Imperial Bank. A large plot is maintained in Centennial Park and is always a blaze of colour. A plot at the Cenotaph in Schreiber is courtesy of the Society. A Junior gardeners programme has been going and sixty youngsters have been actively and enthusiastically participating in it. This programme will have to be cancelled if the Terrace Bay Horticultural Society has to cease to operate due to lack of interest. Every year the Society brings in approxima- tely four tons of fertilizer that is balanced and the chemical analysis is made suitable for soil conditions in Terrace Bay. This fertili- zer is sold at cost to all members. In previous years a bedding plants sale has been held by companies recommended by the Soc -iety. Last year to help their members the Society took orders and themselves went to Thunder Bay to buy bedding plants. All this only costs a member $1.00 a year plus a premium of a bulb or plant that is de- livered to each member at the beginning of the season. A Horticultural Show is held every August in the Arena. Are you interested in helping out? If so, please attend a special meeting to be held in the Recreation Centre on April 5, 1976. The offices open for election are: President Vice President =~ Secretary and Treasurer. ENGAGEMENT ANNOUNCEMENT Mr. and Mus. Arthur Huard are pleased to announce the engagement of their daugh- ten Betty Ann to Mr. Maurice BLier of Schreiber. The wedding will take place on May T8%. 1976 in Holy Angels Roman Catholic Church, Schreiber.
