PAGE 24 TERRACE BAY NEWS OCTOBER 30, I974 TOPS ARD REPORT On the weekend of October 6th approximately 30 members of Schreiber-Terrace Bay Tops Chap- ter ON I586 motored to Thunder Bay to attend the Northwestern Ontario Rally Day, represented by about twenty-five chapters. During the afternoon there was a gathering at the Artona Legion, and seating arrangements were such that it.gave everyone the opportunity to get acquainted with members from various chapters and places. There was a short sing-song, followed by a film - feature called, "See You Lighters", which was very interesting, and I'm sure en- joyed by everyone present. During the evening there was a presentation of awards, prizes, graduation of KOPS and the crowning of the "Northwestern Ontario Queen". Regarding the banner contest and the many entries by different chapters, we were indeed very pleased and happy when our chapter ON I586 Schreiber-Terrace Bay was awarded Ist prize in this event. This being our first attempt, and a most rewarding one. The highlight of the rally was during the evening with the crowning of Helen Dooley of Schreiber as the I973 N.W.O. Queen with a weight loss of I03 pounds. We are all very prot proud 'of Helen's achievement and the honour she has brought to our club. Once again, congra- tulations Helen. A lack of utter surprise and astonishment is the only way to describe Sheila Dakin's face when she took first place in her division with a weight loss of 38 pounds. Other members honoured from our chapter were: Helen LeBlanc, Barb Strasser, Dot Coupal, Alma Moquin, Millie Glad, Kay Bouchard, Edith Cosgrove, Gertie Pineault, Marg Drake and Lillian Sechesky.
