McParland presiding. Councillor J.S. Caccamo, expressed the con- cern felt by all over the condition of town streets and apparent lack of effort on the part of Northeastern Construction Co. in restoring torn out sumps and applying crushed gravel. It was agreed to request the Ministry of Environment to stop sewer pipe laying and to concentrate on sumps, drain culverts and pipe and restoration of streets, and to notify Northeastern Co. of council's action. Schreiber Hydro forwarded minutes of a meet- ing with representatives of Ontario Hydro and the Commission - Schreiber Hydro intends to employ Ontario Hydro for all repairs and ren- ovations and inquire into the possibility of applying the supervision charge of 30 cents per customer pcr month placing Ontario Hydro on a retainer service basis.
