It is a carol service. The Mill- stream Men will be there. Also Jason Van Veghel and Kevin Higgins will sing solos. Everyone is welcome so come and enjoy the service. Linda and Wayne Ford were supper guests with Mrs. Hansen on Sunday. Carl who had been visiting them for the weekend return- ed home. Plan to attend P.P.H.S. Christmas Concert and sing along on Wednesday 17 at 7:30 p.m. Many local students from R.H. Cornish and P.P.H.S. will be partici- pating. On Sunday afternoon the Sunday School pupils and some parents met at Epsom Church .to decorate the Christmas tree. All the decorations were hand made. The leaders who supplied the materials to make the decorations were Doris Armstrong and Deanna Anderson. Mr. and * Mrs. Tom Anderson --and children of Oakwood were visiting Mr. and Mrs. Bill Anderson and their children joined in the fun. On Saturday the many relatives of Mr. Herb Ashton of Ashburn who' live in our area attended his 85th birth- day party at Ashburn Church. Many happy returns of the day from Epsom friends. Allen, Joan and Heather Clow of Lindsay were over- night guests last Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Kerry and family. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Wil- son, Mrs. Mary Wilson, Miss Ruby Wilson and Miss Annie Yeo visited Mr. and Mrs. Keith Wilson and children at their new home in Aurora for Sunday dinner. Supper guests with Mr. and Mrs. Keith Wilson were his brother Douglas and his wife Beth and family. The Epsom Christmas concert will be held at the Church on Sunday evening Dec. 14th at 7:30 p.m. Ladies please provide goodies for a light lunch after the program. . The first Scugog Beavers, Cubs, and Scouts and their families enjoyed a swim night at Ux-Pool Monday December 8 followed by doughnuts, hot chocolate and their Christmas party. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Goslin visited his mother Mrs. Gertrude Goslin at Victoria Manor at Lindsay on Sunday and took her out for dinner. The Baster family were supper guests with Mrs. Baster's parents Mr. and Mrs. Jim Jones of Glen Major on Sunday to cele- brate Mr. Jones birthday. Gerald Acton of Stouffville called on the Ross Evans family on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Archie Watson entertained her brothers and their wives on Sunday with a pre-Christmas dinner. - Mr. and Mrs. Ron Watson and family of Scarborough were overnight guests at his parents home on Saturday.
