According to Halton public health, there were three virus-related deaths in Burlington, and one in Oakville. This brings the death toll in Halton to 394 since the start of the pandemic -- with 146 reported deaths in Burlington, 110 in Oakville, 70 in Milton, and 68 in Hal- ton Hills. The region also report- ed 166 new lab-confirmed cases since the last update. Of those, 66 cases were de- tected in Oakville, 54 in Burlington, 40 in Milton, and six in Halton Hills. There are also 29 people with COVID-19 in Halton's four hospitals. There are 10 people hos- pitalized in the Milton hos- pital, another 10 in Burling- ton, seven in Oakville, and two in Georgetown, ac- cording to the latest re- ports by Halton Healthcare and Joseph Brant Hospital.
