In the regular schedule the Royals, captained by Leon Checkryn, set a strong pace all year and emerged as worthy league champions thereby being the first winners of the new T.B.B.A. trophy for Men's 10 Pin Bowling. For the Fort William Coal Dock Trophy the pick-ups, captained by Ernie Kettle, rolled a total of 3563 to take this award. The Royals were next with 3483 closely followed by the Engineers with 3479.
