GALLOPING GALS WIN OVER HENPECKED HEROES{ 1 Last Friday night before a crowd of almost 300 fans, these two great teams faced off for what was going to be one of the hardest fought battles in the history of hockey « Early in the first period the galloping gals punched through the opposing defence in a power play to start the scoring, seconds later they tallied again to a 2-0 lead, Not to be outdone the Henpecked heroes, showing some of that olii-time greatness slapped home two fast goals to tie the score. After some see-saw hockey the HH. scored again to grab the lead for the first time and so ended the first period.
