Born May 22, 1928, predeceased by her beloved husband Ronald Eric Sheppard and her brother Ronald Knowles. Cherished mother of Linda (Stewart) Guthrie of Burlington, and Judith Douglas of Puslinch Township, loving grandmother of Michelle (Jeff) Sobol of Puslinch Township, Heather Guthrie of Burlington, Robert Douglas of Guelph, and Michael Guthrie of Burlington. She loved being a great- grandparent to Avery and Charlotte (Sobol) and hosted with Ron many family gatherings. Marjorie passed away peacefully at St. Luke's home in Cambridge on February 6, 2022, after 93 great years. She grew up in Hamilton and lived many years in Oakville before moving to Puslinch Township where she and Ron renovated a classic stone farmhouse. After many years supporting the Aberfoyle Fall Fair, Marjorie travelled to England to mark World War II anniversaries. Resting at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, friends, and family are welcome to attend visitation on Thursday, February 10, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph. REDSHAW, Grant Leonard February 12, 1934 - February 2, 2022 ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ It's with heavy hearts that we announce that Grant passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the Ottawa General Hospital on February 2, 2022. Loving husband to Joyce Redshaw, who passed away January 1st, 2010, just shy of their 50th wedding anniversary. The ultimate father to Colin, Stacey, Cathy(Chris), and John(Suzy). Proud Grandfather (Papa) to Storey, Chris, Shawn, Cole, Alicia, Hannah, Simon, Kaden and Abby. Born in 1934 in Oakville Ontario, only son to John and Vera Redshaw. Brother to Audrey, Doreen, Helen, and Carol. Grant was a phenomenal athlete and avid sports fan with baseball being his first love, followed closely by hockey. Together with his close friend and business partner, Budd Brockway, they successfully coached the Oakville Mustangs to five Tri- Country Championships and Oakville's first all Ontario Championship in 33 years. Grant and Joyce retired and moved to Arthur, Ontario where they met Vern and Nancy Foley who quickly became part of the family. Vern spent many nights sitting with Grant cheering on the Blue Jays or Toronto Maple Leafs. The family wishes to sincerely thank the amazing staff at Chartwell Retirement home in Kanata, as well as the amazing doctors, nurses and staff at Ottawa General Hospital. SULLIVAN, William David May 2, 1929 - January 31, 2022 ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Peacefully, in the early hours of January 31, 2022, William David Sullivan (Bill), 92, of Oakville, Ontario, passed into the presence of his Lord and Saviour. Born on May 2, 1929, in North Bay, Ontario, Bill was the second of six children born to James and Olive Sullivan (nee Stewart). Devoted husband to Audrey Benson (1955 - 1993) and Hazel Hancock (2002 -2019). Loving father of Judith, Janice, Michael and Karen. Much respected father-in-law of Craig Campbell, Sheryl Sullivan (nee Faught) and Tim Bogle. Proud and greatly loved Grandfather ("Grandpa", "Poppy") of Lindsay (Matthew Thornton), Sarah (Riley Mor), Warren (Nicole nee Bright) Campbell; Blake, Brett and Joshua Sullivan; Scott, Nicole and Kiera Bogle. Tender Great- grandfather (GG) of Brooklyn, Jack, Harper and Oliver. Treasured stepfather of Paul and Kathy Hancock, Chad and Shaun Hancock and families. Predeceased by brother James (Jim) Sullivan and sister June Cuthill.
