LARSEN, Marvin Laurits June 18, 1934 - February 26, 2021 ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ We are heartbroken to anno- unce the passing of an extra- ordinary man. Marv Larsen, 86, of Oakville, Ontario, pas- sed away comfortably after a year-long courageous battle with cancer. Survived by, the love of his life, Mary, loving son David (wife Kym), adoring daughter Nancy (husband Jimmy) and eldest son Don. As well, his pride and joy, his grandchildren, Amy, Brody and Elin. Marv is also survived by sisters, Virginia Harris and Nancy Carr, brother and sister- in-law, Don and Millie Hadall and brother-in-law, Roy Hadall. Marv graduated with honours from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and went on to complete his MBA at Western University. Marv loved sports and was an exceptional athlete. He excelled at football, basketball, baseball, golf and track and field. Marv was a valued player of the Brantford Red Sox and was drafted by the Cleveland Indians. He had an amazing career in telecommunications. Once retired from Bell Canada after 32 years of service, Marv was instrumental in the operations of telephone companies in Trinidad and Tobago, Saudi Arabia, NWT and Bermuda.
