In December, Halton po- lice responded to a report of someone trying to use an in- cendiary device on a Bon- ney Meadow Road home. Police said the investiga- tion revealed that an at- tempt was made to use a breakable glass bottle con- taining a flammable sub- stance, commonly referred to as a Molotov cocktail, to damage the dwelling. This attempt, however, was unsuccessful and the suspect fled the area. Police say the incident was targeted. An investigation led in an arrest on Monday, Feb. 8. A 24-year-old Brampton man has been charged with arson and two counts of breaching a weapons prohi- bition.
